Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients
2 cups penne pasta (cooked)
2 tablespoons butter
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 small onion, diced
3 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
2 tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp dried basil
¾ cup shredded parmesan cheese
½ tsp salt
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp white pepper
2 chicken breasts, diced
2 cups broccoli, chopped
Directions
Step 1
Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken breast, season with salt, both peppers, oregano, and basil. Cook for 8-10 minutes until done. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 2
In the same pan over medium heat, melt butter and add the garlic and onions. Cook until the garlic and onion begin to soften. Add half of the flour to the garlic, onion, and butter, stirring until the mixture is well incorporated. Then, add the remaining flour and stir.
Step 3
Gradually stir in milk until the sauce thickens. Season, then add Parmesan cheese, broccoli, and the cooked chicken. Leave to simmer 3-5 minutes.
Step 4
Pour the cooked penne pasta into the sauce, and toss until the pasta is evenly covered. Enjoy!
